Chairman

The Board of Directors operates under the Chairmanship of Mr. Tajudeen Afolabi Adeola. A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Institute of Directors. Mr. Fola Adeola was the founder and the founding Managing Director / CEO of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. He has served as a commissioner on the Commission for Africa, and attended the 2005 G8 meeting at Gleneagles, Scotland. He plays a significant role in the public sector; he was the pioneer Chairman of the National Pensions Commission and a member of the National Honours and Awards Committee and The Solid Minerals Committee. He served as Chairman of Asset & Resource Management Company Limited and is currently Chairman of Omatek Computers Limited, Socketworks Limited, Lotus Capital Limited and a Director of UTC Plc. He also served until 2006 as a member of the Global Advisory Committee on Philanthropy at the World Economic Forum. He is currently the Chairman of FATE Foundation, a non governmental organization dedicated to encouraging the creation of wealth through entrepreneurship, using an innovate mix of training, mentoring, loan support and consulting to support young Nigerians. He is a Member of the National Institute and recipient of the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic, (OFR).

Mr. Mahmud Tukur
Managing Director/Chief Executive

He is a joint honours graduate of Accounting & Management from the Business School of the University of Wales College, Cardiff. He has a solid track record of business success, well-developed organisational skills and has garnered a wealth of skills and experience over the past 16 years in the Oil & Gas and Maritime sectors.
Mr. Tukur has served for a number of years as the MD/CEO of Daddo Maritime Services Limited, a foremost indigenous maritime services company. He is the Vice Chairman of Ecomarine Group, a shipping line and Terminal Operator with operations throughout West Africa and an Executive Director of Independent Energy Limited (IEL), an indigenous Oil Exploration and Production Company. IEL is the operator of the Ofa marginal field. He is also a non executive director of several other companies including Dragnet Solutions Ltd. and MicroAccess Ltd.

He is well travelled, speaks two international languages fluently and is a recipient of the National Honour – Officer Of The Order Of The Mono, (OOM) of the Republic of Togo. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping in Nigeria and a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian chamber of shipping.

Mr. Ibrahim Boyi

He has over 18 years of practical experience in the downstream oil and gas industry, across the West African region. He was the MD/CEO of Gaslink Nigeria Limited, a pioneer natural gas distribution company, a member of the board of directors of Oando Plc and has held several senior/executive management positions across several functions such as Strategic Planning, Investments, Financial Management, Accounting, Internal Control and Audit, Marketing and Operations Management in both Total Nigeria Plc and Oando Plc (formerly Unipetrol Nigeria Plc). He has extensive experience in Financial and Business Process Re-Engineering, Information Technology Systems Design, Change Management and Development of Corporate Performance Management. He is an alumnus of INSEAD, Thunderbird, Ahmadu Bello University and ESUT Business School. He holds a B.Sc in Accounting and an MBA.
